SuperJet microniser Kompak-2CPHL has been derived from the Kompak-2CPH model, with addition of APTM's PharmaLift, an unique lifting system, IP65 and sanitary design to current GMPs.
This model was the first in the Kompak-2 series equipped with full, electronic process controls.

Kompak-2CPH/CPHL is the typical machine for APIs ( Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) that present a certain risk of explosion in ultra-fine, dust form.
The Kompak-2CPH series is intrinsically safe and can process organic compounds that present high risk of ultra-fine dust explosion. These products are class St2 or higher, according to dusts ignition and explosion classification. They typically develop, in case of explosion, an internal pressure of about 9 barg with very fast increase and propagation speeds, that limit the utilization of explosion-relief devices.

Potentially explosive powders can be micronised with intrinsically safe systems, able to resist dust explosion, such as SuperJet Kompak-2CPH series that is designed for 10-bar pressure shock resistance and hydraulically tested at 16 bar, according to the most restrictive norms for pressure vessels.
Other design pressures and testing conditions up to 32-bar have been are used for special applications.

In production since 1989, this machine was subject to continuous evolution in terms of versatility and compactness. It has been manufactured in several, different versions during the last decade, the different construction versions being customized and optimized for several classes of APIs.

SuperJet microniser Kompak-2CPH features sanitary, USDA-accepted design, in line with the current Good Manufacturing Practice norms worldwide. All components are inspected and certified by local authorities.
It is equipped with JM2 SuperJet microniser that has replaceable nozzle rings with optimized grinding angles for different products or range of products. The microniser disassembles in more parts, without recessed surfaces, for perfect cleaning of components and fast changeover, without risk of cross-contamination.
The modular design allows customization and interchangeability of different components such as the product feeding system, the microniser, the product collecting bin and a wide choice of ( optional) process controls.
The process equipment is made of stainless steel AISI316 (AISI316L) with hand-polished, pharmaceutical, mirror finish of product contact parts at 400-600 grit Ra 0.15-0.25µm.
Materials, filters and roughness certificates are routinely supplied.

Despite the compactness of SuperJet design, pressure-resistant constructions result heavy, with several components that are difficult to manage by hand; the parts of the dust separator and of the collecting bin must handled by hoists, lifting columns and trolleys.
SuperJet Kompak-2CPHL features APTM's PharmaLift, an unique lifting system, sanitary design to GMPs.
It should be noted that PharmaLift is totally enclosed, IP65 class and features three telescopic-shell, supporting and active lifting columns that are SELF-STANDING, without any connection to the ceiling.

SuperJet Kompak-2CPH/CPHL is also used for non-pharmaceutical applications, being customized for construction materials, wear-resistant linings and finishing to product and customer's specifications.

BASIC MACHINE
All versions and construction models feature the following components:

  • SuperJet microniser with direct collection of the product from the grinding chamber, without risk of fiber contamination. It has a nozzle ring with optimized grinding angles, a horizontal venturi feeding system that avoids metal contamination and built-in, static classifying system that assures very narrow, particle size distribution
  • Twin-shaft feeder, volumetric type, with concave-profile, self-cleaning, screws, able to break the agglomerates and to assure an accurate feeding of poor flowing products, for the whole batch.
  • High-efficiency, dust separator combining inertial and static effects. It is equipped with a membrane filter cartridge, reverse-pulse, automatic cleaning and final, safety HEPA that exhausts breathing air quality to the atmosphere.
  • Standard controls, integrated in the front panel, include process pressure regulators, pressure gages and differential gages to monitor the filters.

OPTIONS
With this modular design, all versions can be equipped with the following options:

  • automatic controls and sound alarm that monitor continuously the factory air supply and the process lines and stop the operation in case of failure
  • high-precision, electronic pressure controls that monitor the microniser with proportional pressure regulators, specifically dimentioned for very quick response and steady operation
  • synoptic and LCD-alarm display with fault messages in plain english, to signal pressure drops on the microniser lines and across the filters
  • electronic motor controller allowing stepless regulation of feed speeds across the specified range and features current limiting to prevent overloading
  • sterilizing air filters for each process line, USDA-approved and certified
  • batch validation equipment including 4-20mA loop signals from pressure transducers and process recorder to document each event and alarm.
  • vacuum compensation system that avoids environment contamination in case of blow-backs.
  • replaceable internal linings include PTFE and hard-metal alloys, etc.
